The Romance Studio–5 hearts

I wasn’t so sure about the tone of this book based on the blurb and first several pages but it really is a lovely story. Ms. Mathews weaves a tale of suspense and intrigue while telling a story of healing. From beginning to end this book is full of twists and turns. I’m still amazed at what a beautiful love story this is. I highly recommend this historical romance.

Night Owl Reviews – 4 stars

Not at all what I expected, this was a delightful read that kept me on my toes. I thought I had it all figured out but the author managed to keep me totally in the dark up until the end. The encounter, which brought Eliza and Chamberly together, could have been gross and creepy but actually managed not to be. The evolution of their marriage and physical relationship was believable and heartwarming. Overall a very good read.
